Separated by the town moat, the two sides of the 'Kö' have undergone completely different developments. The eastern side presents the „Who's Who“ of the international fashion scene as well as luxurious shopping malls such as the Kö-Galerie, „stilwerk“ and „Sevens“. Elegant  pavement cafés invite to seeing and being seen. On the western side are the administrations of almost all the big banks, documenting in an impressive way the thesis that money is earned on one side of the Kö and spent on the other.
