To date, more than 100,000 spectators have seen a total of 27 plays by Theater der Klänge (Theater of sounds). The ensemble has performed in a total of 67 cities around the world with over 600 performances, including Berlin, Munich, Rotterdam, Paris, Avignon, Salonika, Tel Aviv, Moscow and New Delhi. The ensemble usually develops a new production every year and shows it first in Düsseldorf, with many productions then going on tour for guest performances. The Theater der Klänge (Theater of sounds) has had its artistic office, workshops and rehearsal studio in Düsseldorf-Pempelfort since 1991.
