The DüsseldorfCard Plus is an extension of the DüsseldorfCard. It is the affordable and convenient way to discover Düsseldorf and the Rhine and Ruhr region.
With the DüsseldorfCard Plus you can use buses, subways, trams and trains free of charge, as well as all trains without a supplement (RE, RB, S-Bahn in 2nd class) in the entire area of the Rhine-Ruhr Transport Association (VRR) and the Rhine-Sieg Transport Association (VRS).
You also have free or reduced admission to numerous museums and leisure facilities. Experience city tours and sightseeing tours as well as cultural events at greatly reduced prices. The DüsseldorfCard Plus is an extension of the DüsseldorfCard. The DüsseldorfCard Plus allows you to use public transport in the entire VRR and VRS area and is therefore valid beyond Düsseldorf and the surrounding area. You also receive discounts on numerous touristic offers in other cities in the Rhine and Ruhr region.
You can use buses and trains free of charge, as well as all trains without a supplement (RE, RB, S-Bahn in 2nd class) in the Rhine-Ruhr Transport Association (VRR) and the Rhine-Sieg Transport Association (VRS). In addition, you have free or discounted admission to museums, various sights and leisure activities. You can find an overview right here.

There are tickets for individuals (1 adult) and groups (up to 4 people of any age without children or up to 2 adults and max. 3 children under 14 years). You can choose between a 48-hour, 72-hour or 96-hour ticket validity.
You can purchase the card online on the Visit Düsseldorf website, by telephone (Tel.: 0211 / 17 202 854), on site at our Tourist Information Office and at over 200 stationary Rheinbahn ticket machines (including SkyTrain stops at DUS Airport).
The process is similar to buying a regular Rheinbahn ticket:
Select the DüsseldorfCard Plus on the ticket machine and pay either by cash or card. You will receive a paper ticket, which must be validated before your journey to be valid. This must be done at the stamping machines provided for this purpose, which are located at the stations and on most buses and trains.
Unfortunately, that is not possible. The discounts always relate to the standard price.
Once payment has been made, no changes can be made.
