German and Chinese artists will present a selection of short films and discuss their work. The event offers an opportunity for participants to engage in a dialogue about film, art and different cultural perspectives.
At the ‘Filmische Betrachtung’ event, German and Chinese artists and film enthusiasts come together for a joint screening of short films and a discussion session.
A selection of short films representing diverse artistic and cultural perspectives will be screened. Afterwards, the participating filmmakers will discuss the creation of their works, their creative decisions and the themes they wish to convey through their films.
The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions, share their own impressions and engage in conversation with the artists. The focus is on German-Chinese exchange, different forms of cinematic storytelling and the unifying power of art.
