Event as part of the Art:walk Festival
The Malkasten artists' association invites you to visit its current exhibitions in the Malkastenforum, Jacobihaus and Malkastenpark.
Visitors can experience the diversity of the traditional artists' association. The exhibition Demary + van Koolwijk, which places two artistic positions in a dialogue context, can be seen in the Malkastenforum. The Jacobihaus presents a solo exhibition by Croatian artist Izvor Pende. Ecologies in Motion, a cooperative exhibition with the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, will be shown in the Malkastenpark. The works relate to the historic gardens and thematise ecological processes, movement and change in the interplay between art and nature. The exhibitions make the special structure of the artists' association visible: here, art does not unfold in one place, but in the interplay of different spaces. (Source: Art:walk Festival)
