Hear, hear – The Schumanns in private

A radio drama full of experimentation and surprises! Through letters and diary entries by Clara and Robert Schumann, the radio play transports listeners back to the 19th century. On the ‘Road of Romanticism and Revolution’, the Schumann House commemorates the couple’s time in Düsseldorf. The audio collage, featuring original excerpts from the Schumanns’ so-called ‘rumour mill’, brings their everyday life to life.
