Zara Larsson - Midnight Sun Tour 2025
The new album "Midnight Sun" will be released on 26 September 2025 via Sommer House / Epic Records and can be pre-ordered as of now. The album comprises ten tracks and includes the recently released single "Pretty Ugly" as well as the brand new title track "Midnight Sun", which will be released on 13 June. She will be coming to Munich, Berlin and Düsseldorf for three concerts in October and November.
The album was created over the course of last year together with her longstanding creative partner MNEK, producers Margo XS and Zhone and songwriter Helena Gao. The result is a powerful, self-confident pop album - Zara Larsson's most personal and artistically mature work to date. The songs speak openly, honestly and vulnerably about her development - both as an artist and as a person - and paint a multi-layered picture of her personality: in love, nostalgic, ambitious, cheeky, vulnerable and self-deprecating, often all at the same time. The first song created for the album was the title track "Mid-night Sun".
"I asked myself: What do I want to express with this album?" says Zara, "I'm very proud of my Swedish pop heritage and wanted to write about a summer where the sun never sets - like in Sweden. I wanted the whole album to feel like an endless summer night. And it doesn't matter if it's December - that night is there, waiting for you. It will come back, and you will return to it."
Zara kicked off the new era with her energetic single "Pretty Ugly" and music video, which was directed by Charlotte Rutherford (PinkPanthe-ress, Charli XCX) and choreographed by Zoi Tatopoulos (FKA Twigs). The song is wild, self-confident and uncompromising - just like the new album.
This tour is part of a worldwide concert tour around "Midnight Sun", which officially starts on 4 August in Vancouver - as part of Tate McRae's "Miss Possessive Tour". The highlight of the North American tour will be two shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on 26 and 27 September - coinciding with the release of the album. This will be followed in February 2026 by her first live guest appearance in Australia and New Zealand, together with OneRepublic. Zara Larsson had previously released her acclaimed album "VENUS" in 2024, which impressively demonstrated her musical development. In particular, the collaboration "Symphony" with Clean Bandit once again attracted worldwide attention thanks to a viral TikTok moment - the music video was viewed over 1.3 billion times and the song topped the TikTok Billboard charts for several weeks.
"Midnight Sun" shows Zara as authentic and undisguised as never before - a true statement of her artistic identity. "This album is just me," says Zara. "And honestly - no one can be me like me." (Source: prime entertainment)
