On the trail of Joseph Beuys by bike
Beuys & Leverkusen
The last section of the tour takes you through the Urdenbacher Kämpe, a nature reserve with many fruit trees and wet meadows in the south of Düsseldorf. If you let your gaze wander, you will find the customs fortress of Zons on the other side of the Rhine, a small medieval town with a 600-year-old windmill and historic town wall. Once you reach your destination, Morsbroich Palace in Leverkusen, a magnificent baroque palace awaits. Both the sculpture park around the museum and the exhibitions in the museum are well worth a visit.
