What do you love most about Düsseldorf?
My hometown gives me a sense of security and the aesthetics of this city with its unique architecture and cozy neighborhoods simply make it the best city in the world for me!

Where can you find a piece of home in Düsseldorf?
You can get a taste of the Albanian world at the Prizreni bakery!

Three places in Düsseldorf that visitors to the city absolutely have to see?
A stroll through the Carlsplatz market with its delicious treats over a glass of wine, the rose garden at the city museum for some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the city and what makes me sob blissfully forever is the view of the skyline from the Rhine embankment promenade at sunset - wonderfully beautiful!

Where and when do you feel like a "real Düsseldorfer"?
Every time I chat with older people in the city, when I catch myself speaking a bit of Platt!

What do you miss when you're not in Düsseldorf?
Isn't it best when you don't want to escape from your life? The reason is this city!

What are you most looking forward to at UEFA EURO 2024 or what do you wish for?
Seeing the Albanian fans with plis and their enthusiasm for their team!

How, where and with whom will you be watching the games and who are you rooting for?
Of course with my Shqipsters - my Albanian community in Düsseldorf!

Dein Grußwort an die internationalen Gäste zur UEFA EURO 2024?
Mirë se vini në Düsseldorf! Seid Willkommen! <3

Your tip - who will be European champions?
Albania will definitely be the champions of hearts! I'd rather not get carried away with anything else!

Where do you prefer to drink your coffee?
With a Lelit Mara at home with my husband, of course! We're lucky enough to have one of the best baristas in the world in Düsseldorf: Dritan Alsela!

Which restaurant do you think most represents the typical and characteristic taste of Düsseldorf?
Fortunately, we're in a fantastic position when it comes to internationality - from Finanzämtche (Pozangmatcha) to Fusion Kitchen in Waya Kitchen and the many very authentic Japanese restaurants in the city!

A restaurant tip for our international guests?
Pizza at Pizzeria Uscana!

Your favorite bar or pub?
The Square Bar in Derendorf is my absolute favorite in the city! If you love gin, you have to go to the Lupin Bar in Flingern. The owner A. Maksuti celebrates his craft!

A shopping tip for our international guests?
You can find wonderful owner-managed stores in Flingern, for example the Aest Store on Ackerstraße.
