All Rhine! - With Luise Kropff, sports reporter & commentator on Fortuna home games

The podcast with Mike Litt

"Düsseldorf is a beautiful city. How nice we can sit here in the Theatermuseum, the sun's rays tickling our faces, it's a premium feeling."

Luise Kropff comments on all Fortuna Düsseldorf home games for WDR. The book "Die wilden Kerle - Vanessa, die Unerschrockene" (The Wild Guys - Vanessa, the fearless one) awakened Luise's passion for soccer at a young age. Her big dream back then: "I would like to be the very first woman to play in the German men's national team." As we know, that didn't work out. But her great love of soccer has remained. In 2019, Luise Kropff took over the journalistic club support for Fortuna for WDR and commentates on the home games of the Düsseldorf team. The sports reporter still lives in Cologne, but she is moving to Düsseldorf in the summer and is looking forward to discovering new sweet spots.

Mike Litt and Luise Kropff met up at the Theatermuseum am Hofgarten in the finest spring weather. With blue skies, sunshine and birdsong, the two talked about fans, stadium sausages and power grills.
