The podcast hosted by Mike Litt

Mike Litt in conversation with actress Minna Wündrich

How are you, Düsseldorf?

Our new podcast "Alle Rhein" for culture in times of Corona - now every week on Friday until further notice: Our host Mike Litt talks to Düsseldorfers from the art and culture scene. He has set up a home studio especially for this purpose.
What Mike Litt wants to know: How do the talk guests experience the surreal time of isolation? What projects are they working on anyway? And what do they miss most about Düsseldorf?
In Episode 7, Mike talks to Minna Wündrich.

Minna Wündrich is one of the most expressive actresses in Germany. She has played defining roles in Stuttgart, Bochum, Dresden and Leipzig. Since 2016, the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus has been her stage. Together with the entire team from "D'Haus," she is eagerly awaiting September, when there will finally be performances again - and especially in the Schauspielhaus' new building, which just opened shortly before Corona.

In an interview with Mike Litt, Minna Wündrich talks about how the Schauspielhaus ensemble is currently getting used to the new spacing rules during rehearsals with pool noodles, which Düsseldorf Rhine beach she discovered far too late on her bike tours, and she also reveals at the end of the interview where to find the best olive ice cream in Düsseldorf.

We also learn why future performances at the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus will be on a new level and why the Bremen native "wouldn't even be here" without Düsseldorf and has always had a very special bond with the city and its people.

Our host

Mike Litt was born in the US state of Virginia and lived in Bochum for many years. The globetrotter usually works in Cologne but lives with his family in the beautiful Düsseltal district of Düsseldorf. He is a radio presenter (1Live, WDR 2, DLF Nova), a DJ with Mayday festival experience and an author (‘The loneliest DJ in the world’). For our podcast, he holds fascinating conversations with other people from Düsseldorf’s cultural scene.
