Düsseldorf Now: The current music scene as a mixtape

Best of "A memorial for..."

Liverpool has the Beatles, Berlin has Bowie - and Düsseldorf? Who deserves a musical monument here on the Rhine? Over the past few months, we have introduced you to artists and bands from the "TSOD Mixtape" playlist - and asked them who they think is worthy of a monument. You can read their answers below. They all deserve it.

Carpet Waves: NEU!
GatoPreto: Kraftwerk
Rogers: None, bands and generally "loud" artists virtually build their statues themselves through their work.
Georg Zimmermann: La Düsseldorf
Kopfecho: Antilopen Gang
Love Machine: Östro 430
Luise Weidehaas: I'm not a big fan of statues, you should enjoy the well-known and lesser-known bands.
Neumatic Parlo: NEU!
Massendefekt: We would rather plead for the Ratinger Hof to be listed as a historical monument.
Creeps: Kraftwerk
Moglii: Stable Elite with a stable statue
Joseph Boys: NEU!
