Julia Stoschek is one of the most important art collectors in the world. The heart of her unique collection of media art has always been at home in Düsseldorf. In the Corona era, she digitally shared part of it with art enthusiasts around the world.

Why it is important to her to share art, why she will always remain connected to Düsseldorf, and what she appreciates about the metropolis on the Rhine in her private life as well - Julia Stoschek tells us in this candid conversation with Mike Litt for "Alle Rhein!".

Julia Stoschek, who opened her "Julia Stoschek Collection" in 2007 in a converted industrial building in the Oberkassel district, says: "Düsseldorf has a very special and evolved bourgeoisie, which has been involved with art for centuries and has an education in art that we don't know like that in Berlin."

The conversation also revolves around the art academy, the Rhine bridges and the Rhine. "I think it's insanely beautiful to be at the harbor in the evening," Stoschek says. "I love Robert's Bistro. A perfect summer evening starts there!"

You can now find the works from the JSC online: www.jsc.art/
