The Japanese Quarter begins at Hauptbahnhof(main station). You will find everything around Immermannstraße, "Little Tokyo on the Rhine", especially some of the best Japanese restaurants in Europe.
Our tip: From here, you can swiftly reach the area around Ackerstraße in Flingern - once a working-class neighbourhood and now a trendy district and playground for local street artists. If you want to go there, simply take the tram line 709 (direction "Gerresheim Krankenhaus") to the stop "Birkenstraße".
