The 9 golden rules for your city tour
We look forward to welcoming you to our city tour! To ensure that your tour and the experience are as enjoyable as possible for all participants, we have summarised our ‘Nine Golden Rules’ for you.
They are simple and fair and ensure that we all have a good time together:
1. Be punctual
It is best to arrive 10 minutes before the start so that we can set off together in a relaxed manner. This way, we can start on time and you won't miss any exciting moments.
2. Alcohol? Better after the tour
An Alt beer will taste just as good later. Unfortunately, anyone who is already heavily intoxicated or drinks during the tour will not be able to join us. For tours with planned tastings, of course, cheers – but enjoy in moderation.
3. Stay focused
Your guide puts a lot of heart and soul into the tour – show respect, listen and feel free to ask questions. Curiosity, humour and open ears are the best way to experience Düsseldorf.
4. Dress appropriately
Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes – we do a lot of walking, often on cobblestones in the old town and in all weathers.
5. Respect comes first
A smile works wonders! Treat your guide, the group and everyone we meet with respect. Insults or offensive behaviour have no place on our tour.
6. Be aware of your surroundings
We are moving through the heart of city life – be mindful of traffic, residents and other visitors. Leave enough space for others so that everyone feels comfortable.
7. No rubbish, no drama
We love our city – help us keep it clean. Take your rubbish with you or dispose of it in the designated bins. This way, Düsseldorf stays beautiful for everyone.
8. Follow your guide
Your guide knows the route, the rules and what we need to watch out for in Düsseldorf. Please always follow the instructions so that we can travel safely as a group.
9. Observe the rules
Our guides pay attention to the safety and mood of the entire group. Anyone who is disrespectful or intoxicated will unfortunately not be able to continue participating. This is a shame, but it is fair to everyone else.
