The newly opened rooms of the Central Library in KAP1 now also have their own library café - the Xafé. A café is a wish often expressed by many visitors to the library, which can now finally be fulfilled in the new building.
The operators of the library café, the married couple Xenia Bienefeld-Asabar and Karim Asabar, are ideally qualified to run a library café: The two restaurateurs* met in the old central library on Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz and share a love of good coffee and libraries. They already run two cafés, one in Düsseldorf and one in Wuppertal - the Xafé in KAP1 is their third café.
