This collection of the Clock and Watch Museum has been assembled over more than 40 years and is one of the most representative cross-sections of these fascinating clocks, which were built over 200 years in the Franche Comté in the French Jura.
A comparable collection is unlikely to be found even in France. There are now more than 400 clocks on display, plus around 20 regulators, frame clocks and ox-eye clocks with Comtoise mainspring movements.
