Düsseldorfer Marionetten-Theater (Puppet theatre)
In the backyard of the Palais Wittgenstein on the Bilker Strasse a gem of the Düsseldorf theatre landscape is located.
Beschreibung
Although the protagonists of the Düsseldorf Marionette Theatre are all puppets, the program is not only aimed at young visitors.
"Der satanarchäolügenialkohöllische Wunschpunsch" based on Michael Ende, for example, has been performed here over a thousand times and is a cult hit with eight and 88-year-olds alike. The theater seats just under 100 people - a manageable size. This guarantees that every visitor can admire the figures, which are produced with great care in the company's own workshops, up close. Everything that can be seen on stage is created according to the designs of founder and artistic director Anton Bachleitner.
