In the footsteps of Charlie Chaplin, Federico Fellini, Alfred Hitchcock and Marlene Dietrich - in the Düsseldorf Film museum in the Düsseldorf Carlstadt, small and large devotional objects of the stars await their admirers.

The permanent collection extends over four floors and not only offers insights into the first steps of cinematography. In a replica film studio, cineastes can beam themselves to Hollywood and feel like a director or film star between the set, camera, wind machine and spotlight. At the same address is also the program cinema Black Box, which presents film classics, thematic retrospectives and premieres.
