Malkastenpark, also known as Jacobigarten, is a small, historic private park belonging to the Malkasten Artists’ Association in Düsseldorf, which is open to everyone for an admission fee of 2 euros.
The park, which covers just under 2.5 hectares and is a listed building, is situated in the centre of Düsseldorf, right next to the Hofgarten. At the heart of the park is a central Baroque axis featuring a tree-lined avenue, a parterre and the Venus Pond, as well as natural, landscaped areas incorporating the course of the northern branch of the River Düssel.
