The 2027 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship is already on the horizon: the groups for the preliminary round have now been provisionally confirmed. The tournament will take place from 14 to 30 May 2027 in the German cities of Düsseldorf and Mannheim.
Fans can look forward to some thrilling matches as 16 of the world’s top ice hockey nations battle it out for the world title.
The final four games of the tournament will take place in Düsseldorf, whilst Mannheim will serve as the venue for Team Germany.
