Distant galaxies, star nebulae, black holes – the universe closer than ever before! On a giant screen, razor-sharp NASA images shine in colours usually seen only in science fiction films. Accompanying this, Danae Dörken, one of the most sought-after pianists of her generation on the international stage, performs Johann Sebastian Bach’s music live – at times powerful, at times delicate, always surprising. The result: a concert that feels like a journey through space and time.

Following its huge success in February 2026, Bach in Space will return to Düsseldorf in March 2027. The programme features highlights such as excerpts from the *Well-Tempered Clavier*, the *Goldberg Variations* and the *Italian Concerto*.
