Matthias Münstermann, descendant of the Münstermann family, opened the now well-known bistro restaurant in 2004, almost 120 years after the family's first egg stall on Düsseldorf's market square. The daily changing menu includes European bistro dishes such as the French fish soup bouillabaisse or the Italian spaghetti vongole. But tried and tested classics such as currywurst or Wiener schnitzel with veal are also very popular with guests. Five chefs work in the Münstermann Kontor at the same time to fulfil the high demands.
