Pelican Fly
In the middle of the city center in the former “Berliner Imbiss” on Graf-Adolf-Platz, the Pelican Fly shines in a colorful, stylish 80s ambience. The concept is just as stylish: “French fries & wine” - an unusual but irresistible combination.
Beschreibung
The Pelican Fly proves that Rhenish “chip shop” culture and vinophiles have always belonged together. Antonios Askitis, co-owner of the Pelican Fly, is not only a restaurateur, but also a renowned “wine fluencer”. His motto: “Wine is uncomplicated.” This also applies to the deliberately reduced menu at the snack bar on Graf-Adolf-Platz. French fries, currywurst and the delicious club sandwich are the main protagonists, while the exquisite wine selection is the real star. Which wine goes best with chips? According to Antonios: Everyone! And so the range includes sparkling, white and red wines. The remarkable food combination is complemented by a fine selection of sauces, such as various types of mayonnaise, hunter's sauce or tzatziki.
