Yatana
At Yatana, diverse flavours and rich culture go hand in hand. This was already important to owner Merhawit Tesfaldet when she opened her Eritrean-Ethiopian restaurant in 2016. And this can also be experienced during a visit to Yatana.
Beschreibung
Guests at the restaurant on Worringer Straße receive a warm welcome in the bright, friendly ambience with predominantly white walls and natural wooden elements. Most dishes from the Eritrean-Ethiopian cuisine are not served on plates, but in colourful baskets with injera, a leavened flatbread. For visitors who are not yet familiar with East African cuisine, the mixed starter platter with sambusa and katena is a good place to start, while the Madi platter as a main course provides an exciting insight into the diversity of Eritrean-Ethiopian cuisine. Yatana, by the way, means tradition. This is why the Eritrean coffee ceremony is celebrated regularly.
