Beschreibung
From large rays to small shrimps, from nimble penguins to leisurely crocodiles, 500 different animal species are gathered here. The theme of evolution is the common thread that runs through the unique institute of zoo/aquarium and natural history museum: The tour tells the story of living creatures - from their origin and spread in the sea, the conquest of fresh water to the colonization of all habitats on land. The Aquazoo has already received several awards from the UN for its in-house amphibian conservation and breeding station, where various endangered animals are cared for and in some cases successfully bred.
