The Rheinbahn offers a shuttle bus from the airport to the Messe (line 896). The departure point is the bus platform on the Arrivals level.
The underground line U78 goes directly to the north entrance of the Messe (last stop MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA/Messe Nord). The underground line U79 stops at the east entrance of the Messe (Messe Ost/Stockumer Kirchstrasse). The bus line 722 also takes you to the east entrance, the Messe-Centre and CCD-Süd/Stadthalle.
