Angermund Christmas Market
On 28 November 2026, the Angermund Christmas Market, taking place from 12 noon to 8 pm on Graf-Engelbert-Straße and around St Agnes’ Church, invites you to enjoy a pre-Christmas stroll, savour the atmosphere and discover something new.
Traditionally, the Angermund Christmas Market takes place on the Saturday before the first Sunday in Advent in a cosy atmosphere on Graf-Engelbert-Straße. This year, the association ‘mein Angermund e.V.’ (formerly ‘Handwerk und Handel in Angermund e.V.’) invites you to come and browse and enjoy the market on 28 November 2026 from 12 noon to 8 pm.
Numerous stalls around St Agnes’ Church create an atmospheric setting. The community centre is also opening its doors this year, complementing the market with further stalls on the ground floor and a reading corner for children.
At the stalls, visitors can discover a wide range of creative, handcrafted and homemade items. There will also be plenty of culinary delights on offer, with sweet and savoury specialities as well as hot and cold drinks.
A visit to the market also gives you the chance to do some good: charitable organisations and local clubs are represented with their own stalls. Several stallholders donate their takings to good causes or use them to support their club’s work.
The supporting programme includes a visit from St Nicholas at 3 pm and 5 pm, who will read from his Golden Book, as well as a singing performance by the Friedrich-von-Spee School at 4 pm. KREA Düsseldorf is hosting children’s craft activities from 12 noon to 6 pm. On the church square, falconer Frithjof Schnurbusch from the Rheinisches Waldpädagogium will be present with his birds of prey. (Source: Handwerk und Handel in Angermund e.V.)
