If the headphone concept for asphalt concerts at the Schwanenspiegel hadn't already been established for six years, we would have had to invent it for this band: Almost Twins and the Seebühne - that's a "match made in heaven"!
The band from Leipzig stands for melancholic, introspective songs, gentle synth pads, warm Wurlitzer patterns and dreamy saxophone and clarinet lines. Their atmospheric sound radiates calm and the lightness of the moment. Originally founded by singer and guitarist Max Grüner as a solo project, in his search for sonic expansion he found an almost twin-like bond with Laurenz Welten (saxophone, clarinet), Valentin Mühlberger (Wurlitzer, synth), Arne Imig (bass) and Raphael Schuster (drums), which gave the band its name and which can also be clearly felt on stage. The act, which is still quite young but is now highly regarded in the German indie scene, has already produced two albums, "Hands/Trees" (2024) and "Visions" (2026), completed several tours throughout Germany, played at various festivals and was nominated for the German Pop Culture Award for its music video for "Puppeteer" in 2025.
