Frederic Bahr’s works are based on an exploration of materials and forms which, through their physicality, create open narrative structures and allow for various levels of interpretation.
His artistic practice is closely linked to the creative process and is virtually inseparable from the context in which the work is created. During his stay in Palermo, Bahr explored the concept of the transfer of forms – that is, the question of how a sculpture can be moved to another location without moving the original.
