Inspired by ballroom and drag culture, we’re hosting a BallaBalla Ball full of glitz, fun, a sense of community and unexpected encounters.
Amidst table tennis tables, disco balls and drag performances, sport, club culture, street food and queerness come together.
Parked outside the door is the Vegan Spaceboy food truck from Mönchengladbach. Behind the project is Derya Kaynarca, who, with his creative, entirely plant-based cuisine, has quickly become a fixture on the street food scene in North Rhine-Westphalia. Known for his unusual vegan creations, he’s developed special ‘ball’ specialities exclusively for the BALLABALLA BALL – vegan, of course, and with a touch of ballaballa. These will be accompanied by matching cocktails, signature shots and music from the queer DJ collective Get Over It. Whether you’re a ping-pong pro, a drag fan, a foodie or simply curious: everyone is welcome.
