For a whole week, the Chinese community in Düsseldorf invites you to a programme celebrating Chinese culture and everyday art: streets, cinemas, sports halls and restaurants will be opening their doors to showcase the diversity of cultural traditions from across China.
Treat yourselves to a culinary journey through the regional cuisines from Sichuan to Hunan, as around a dozen restaurants showcase their specialities. Experience calligraphy and tea ceremonies, film screenings, tai chi, table tennis and hands-on kung fu sessions, insights into Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as taster language courses for curious people of all ages.
China Week is organised by Chinese institutions and associations in the city – including the Confucius Institute, Chinese sports clubs, the Düsseldorf Society for German-Chinese Friendship, language schools, travel agencies and many other partners.
