In September, fifty galleries present the exhibition highlights of the year. With the start of the autumn art season - jointly organised by galleries from Düsseldorf and Cologne - the Rhineland once again becomes the centre of current art events. Now in its twelfth year, the DC Open has already established itself as a renowned programme of curator and collector tours in Germany and abroad.
The DC Open is both a weekend for art lovers and an international meeting place for professional artists. After sixteen years, the DC Open shows that the Rhineland is stronger than ever: fifty galleries, a traditional and liberal collector community, the diversity and number of important museums and institutions as well as lively off-spaces all contribute to the reputation of this art region.
