The fairytale market is located between Schadowstraße and Königsallee and is ideal for a journey of discovery into the enchanting world of German fairytales.
15,000 LEDs ensure that the square shines in a magical light - as a fairytale world for young and old. The wooden silhouettes on the huts are based on illustrations specially created by an artist. Some elements of the silhouettes even move.
There are special opening hours for the Christmas market on the following days: On Christmas Eve (Wednesday, 24 December) it is open from 11 am to 3 pm and on Boxing Day (Friday, 26 December) from 2 pm to 9 pm. The Christmas market will be closed on 23 November (Sunday of the Dead) and Christmas Day (Thursday, 25 December).
