Fashion meets culture in the Loretto district: three events around St Martin's Church combine fashion shows, live music and city culture - open, lively and in the centre of Düsseldorf-Unterbilk.
With "Fashion and Culture Around the Church", a three-part series of events will be held in Düsseldorf's Loretto district in 2026. Fashion shows will meet live music and other cultural contributions in the public space around St Martin's Church.
The series sees fashion as a cultural form of expression and brings it into a dialogue with music, urban space and the neighbourhood. Local retailers, designers and musicians from Düsseldorf and the region are involved. Each event has its own thematic focus and is deliberately designed to be public and low-threshold.
The aim is to make the Loretto neighbourhood visible as a lively cultural and creative location and to promote encounters between generations, scenes and visitor groups. The events invite people to experience fashion and culture beyond traditional stage formats - in the heart of the neighbourhood, open to all.
Part of the series is linked to the Düsseldorf Fashion Days and complements them with a decentralised, district-based perspective. "Fashion and Culture Around the Church" stands for contemporary urban culture, local creativity and shared experiences in an urban space. (Source: Dawo-Eichenauer Saints And Styles GbR)
