Under the patronage of Minister-President Hendrik Wüst, the DRK Düsseldorf is organising the Concert for Humanity at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf on 26 September 2026 – the second such event.
This evening, the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Stephan Frucht, will perform well-known masterpieces by Mendelssohn, Liszt, Puccini and others. They will be joined by the world-famous stars Albrecht Mayer, Bomsori Kim, Julia Kleiter, Illia Ovcharenko and the choir of the Städtischer Musikverein zu Düsseldorf. Journalist and television presenter Sandra Maischberger will be hosting the programme.
As in previous years, the proceeds from the evening will go to the Ukrainian Red Cross to support its wide-ranging humanitarian aid efforts within the country.
