The date for the 24th Düsseldorf/NRW Japan Day has been confirmed – the state capital will once again be celebrating Japanese culture.
On Saturday 22 May 2027, Düsseldorf will be transformed into a vibrant slice of Japan. The Düsseldorf/NRW Japan Day invites you to explore, marvel and enjoy, turning the city into a colourful festival of cultural exchange. Along the Rhine promenade, on the market square, the Rheinterrasse and in the Rheinpark, you can look forward to Japanese traditions, modern pop culture and culinary highlights. One of the highlights is the spectacular Japanese fireworks display, which bathes the evening sky in brilliant colours and brings the festival to a thrilling close.
