Discovery Zone is the experimental pop project of New York musician and multimedia artist JJ Weihl.
After the slow-building but undeniable buzz surrounding their debut album "Remote Control", Discovery Zone released their second album "Quantum Web" in 2024 on RVNG Intl. and Mansions and Millions, followed by an expanded version in 2025.
On "Quantum Web", Discovery Zone delved into an uncanny valley where the boundaries between seriousness and irony are as blurred as those between human and post-human. On stage, Discovery Zone explores a large-scale pop sound, peppered with luminous vocal performances and baroque instrumental flourishes. It utilises a laboratory of instruments and 3D visuals to explore the universe as a source of information. New music from Discovery Zone is scheduled for release in the first half of 2026.
