His debut at the Heinersdorff in November 2025 had the audience in raptures: now Makoto Ozone returns to the Tonhalle – accompanied by two brilliant trio partners and bringing plenty of jazz with him.
The trio with the evocative name TRiNFiNiTY was founded by jazz legend Ozone together with two rising stars of the Japanese jazz scene: double bassist Shimpei Ogawa and drummer Kunito Kitai. Their very first album together caught the public’s attention with its pulsating energy and rousing virtuosity; performances at jazz festivals from Tokyo to Melbourne followed.
