The spectrum of the exhibition encompasses numerous art forms, including photography and painting, sculpture and video installations, but also everyday objects, music and commercial imagery. It examines the continuity, but also the mutability of images of mothers in society, which are constantly being reappropriated, interpreted, contested and also celebrated.
