The exhibition brings together eleven contemporary artistic practices spanning painting, photography, sculpture, installation, video and performance. It centres on the question: How is our relationship with nature changing?
Against the backdrop of the climate crisis, species extinction, resource scarcity and social change, nature is not viewed solely as a landscape or an aesthetic backdrop, but as an actor in its own right and as a space for political, ecological and emotional resonance.
A distinctive feature of the project is its charitable aspect: through this exhibition, we aim to raise awareness of the Düsseldorf-based initiative RhineCleanUp and support it with the donations collected during the exhibition. Visitors and artists have the opportunity to contribute through voluntary donations. (Source: Re: Nature)
