Harp and percussion? That’s certainly not the first combination of instruments that springs to mind when you think of a chamber concert.
The musicians in this concert hall demonstrate just how well the instruments harmonise with one another despite this. In Fallas’ compositions, the harp showcases its percussive side, whilst in Broughton’s music you can lose yourself in the gentle, enveloping sounds of the vibraphone.
