The Schumann House invites you to bring the past back to life. From 1852, the world-famous musician couple Clara and Robert Schumann lived with their children at Bilker Straße 15.
It is the only family home that has been preserved in its historical structure.
Eight themed rooms offer visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the musical culture of the 19th century and the intensive Düsseldorf phase of the Schumanns' lives and works.
In the Schumann House's treasure chamber, special new additions and treasures from the extensive collection will be on display for the first time from May, revealing the extraordinary work of the two famous composers. (Source: d:Art/Cultural Office)
