Need a quick trip to the loo? That’s not always so easy in the city. In Düsseldorf, we want to make this easier from now on. This map shows publicly accessible toilets. As well as the City of Düsseldorf’s ‘City Toilet’ scheme and those provided by many businesses, it also lists toilets where a fee is charged. Under the ‘City Toilet’ scheme, shops, cafés, restaurants and public institutions make their guest toilets available free of charge to visitors to Düsseldorf city centre.
 

  • The facilities can be used during opening hours without any obligation to make a purchase or consume food or drink.
  • Participating businesses can be identified by a sticker on the door bearing the words ‘City Toilet’.
  • The sticker also indicates whether the facilities are accessible.
