A small brick shed on the edge of the old Derendorf goods station is home to this popular nightlife venue. Guests take a seat at simple wooden tables on creaky chairs; the atmosphere is simple, it is loud and cramped. But this is exactly what gives Bar Olio its charming and cosy flair. In addition to an excellent selection of wines, the Mediterranean bistro cuisine with a Japanese twist is particularly impressive with its oysters, fish soup and grilled octopus with mojo mash. The pasta dishes are also highly recommended across the board - you can taste the quality in every bite. However, reservations are not possible. So if in doubt, take some time with you.
