Baos are steamed yeast dumplings that originally come from China. The buns are filled with meat, fish or tofu and other Far Eastern delicacies. They are served with homemade sauces and accompanied by sweet potatoes or fresh kimchi. Unique drinks are also provided. Owners John Hoang-Tu Phan and Lorena Grosmann offer a range of typical Asian drinks and homemade lemonades. John Hoang-Tu Phan is not new to catering. His parents ran a Vietnamese restaurant in Kleve for 30 years. With his Bao Buns, he has shown the right instinct and brought one of the top food trends to Carlsplatz.
