The reason? There are several, including the charming Riva chef Michele Salamone and his partner René Paganetti, and their shared passion for Italian cuisine. The pair have been at the helm of Riva since 2013, but before that Michele had more than three decades of catering experience. But it's also worth dropping in for a drink. The bar at Riva offers the best places to see and be seen, and the large terrace is even open all year round, thanks to the heated mushrooms.
