Even before the wide avenue along the Stadtgraben became a shopping street, the Franzens started their business here: They sold fine porcelain from KPM, the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin, as well as the finest tableware from Meissen, Copenhagen and Nymphenburg Palace. Whenever wealthy Düsseldorf families got married, Franzen came into play. A tradition that has continued into the third generation. Today, the portfolio also includes high-quality cookware, silver, cutlery and glassware as well as first-class writing instruments, watches and jewelry. Incidentally, the floor in the entrance area of Königsallee 42 is made of Meissen porcelain.
