The programme features digital artworks that engage in dialogue with local exhibitions and events in the cultural hub of Düsseldorf. It is complemented by an open festival area with deckchairs and a lounge atmosphere – a relaxed meeting place between Gustaf-Gründgens-Platz and Hofgarten.
From 12:00 to 15:00, the Velo-Stage hosts an open mic session. This will be followed by the Bruno Venturim Trio playing Brazilian jazz. Afterwards, “Long Story Short” and “Zilinski” (Robert Schumann University) will take to the stage, creating a summery festival atmosphere that lasts well into the evening.
A retrospective of the past two years will be shown on the digital screen, featuring works by Tim Berresheim, Harun Farocki, Yoko Ono, Katharina Sieverding, Hedda Roman and Jon Rafman.
