Event as part of the Art:walk Festival
"Artist Salon - Friedensliebe" is an interdisciplinary event format that brings together visual art, performance, literature and music by female artists in a curated salon context.
The salon deliberately creates an intimate, dialogue-based space in which artistic processes, encounters and resonances take centre stage. The aim is to strengthen the visibility of female artists and make it possible to experience art as a living, open process. Experience the exhibition "das kleine Format" with works by members of Düsseldorfer Künstlerinnen e. V. - from painting, photography and sculpture to graphics and objects. The programme will be accompanied by performances such as a sequence from the "Medusa Project" by Inge Harms, readings with Monia Tahar and music by DJane Candy Dandy, ranging from the 1960s to current electropop trends. Moderated salon talks will provide insights into the artists' working methods and promote dialogue and networking. You can also get active: Floor paintings, the "wortandwondercloud" and street painting with pastels invite all guests to participate creatively - an experience that combines art, reflection and collaborative creation.
